This buckle, made entirely from sterling silver, features a longhorn skull motif bordered by tribal patterning. The skull has a remarkable level of detail—its careful shading and wear-marks (traced and engraved by hand) create a vivid likeness of weatherworn bone. James estimates that the skull alone took eight hours to make. The tribal patterning is a natural fit to add some Americana balance to the Western-themed motif, and its look seems quite improved by the juxtaposition as well.
100% hand-wrought sterling silver belt buckle featuring a cowboy and bronco motif set on a subtly detailed backdrop scene. Comstock’s legendary craftsmanship is on full display here, with particularly impressive attention to the bucking horse’s musculature. No detail goes ignored—not even the sagebrush and tumbleweeds. Heavy etching and buffing cap off a timeless aesthetic in this Western classic piece.

The Mason Ute Arrow buckle by Comstock Heritage features a large sterling silver chief motif headlining a coat of arms-style arrangement of wispy floral engraving and a sterling silver arrow sigil. The diagonally crossed arrow and engraving pattern create a spatial balance to support the prominent central motif as it rises out from and beyond the borders two-dimensional space. Handmade to fit a 1.5in belt strap.
