Despite the name, no metal as pedestrian as copper was used to make this buckle. Only sterling silver and gold went into this masterpiece. In the center is a cowboy trying to tame a bucking bronco, every muscle of man and beast straining in the scene. Surrounding them on all sides are the loops and swirls of floral scroll work, made from sterling silver and gold, both rose and yellow. The rest of the face is darkened to create dimension and depth, making it seem as if horse and rider are floating in space. Fits all 1.5-inch belt straps.
