James describes this buckle as follows "Throughout life we are all trying to find our way whether its new jobs, new cities, mixed families, etc. I've found where I fit in, but not everyone feels that way, or is that fortunate. The buckle has a Sterling Silver base, I applied the muli- colored golds and platinum in a Jackson Pollock/Joan Miro style, as though the geometric pieces were dropped and flung onto the buckle. It was a little more work then that, however that was the general idea! The buckle is finished with blue and yellow diamonds as well as yellow sapphires. In the center of the large splotch in the lower right hand corner is a rare, natural, fancy pink diamond."

From James Christian’s Fall Collection, as he creates his collectible pieces, his inspiration is drawn on his current state of mind.
“The Summer of 2019 has been serene and calm for me, all things seem to be in their rightful place and this calm is reflected in the smooth 18k yellow gold of the center shield. The gold triangle in the center is actually made up of two mathematicalgreater thansymbols indicating that, for now, the calm is greater than the swirling chaos on the outside. The surrounding area is made of primarily non-uniform shapes and colors, with a few calibrated gems mixed in, the unpredictable. Although calm is a state of mind, one should be aware of the times it occurs, which is rare and wonderful.”
Fits all belt straps up to 1 5/8"
Materials: Platinum, 14k and 18k yellow, rose, and green gold. White, blue, and yellow faceted diamonds, blue and yellow rough cut diamonds, sterling silver.

James Christian - Pushing The Rock Cuff
Inspired by a client, who was interested in a companion piece for hisPushing the Rockbuckle, James Christian created this beautifully executed cuff in August of 2019. As with the Pushing the Rockbuckle, the rocks (diamonds) get smaller and increase in quality as they are pushed up the steep hill. At one end of the cuff is the James Christian jester in platinum, the other end features a semicolon made of platinum with 2 white diamonds.
The significance of the semicolon addresses the philanthropic nature ofPushing the Rockseries, as a portion of the sales are donated to the Project Semicolon. Project Semicolon is an organization dedicated to the prevention of suicide..."your story is not over"

James Christian - Obstacles
The James Christian “Obstacles” is a Sterling silver buckle embellished with multi colored 14k and 18k gold as well as platinum. This piece also features blue, white, and cognac diamonds and a yellow sapphire. This piece is entirely hand made by the collection’s creator, James Christian.
The James Christian piece known as “Obstacles” is described by James as "I originally wanted to make the buckle showing the obstacles we encounter in life. The seven deadly sins was also an idea, but didn't resonate with me. The buckle has symbols for mental health, suicide, luck, gluttony, death, money, cancer, opium, nicotine, alcohol, and sexuality. When it came to the background, I knew I didn't want it plain, and I wanted a way to add more meaning. The lines in the background are the lines in my hand. Head, health, life, heart, and fate are represented in rose, green, and yellow gold. The other lines are engraved by hand."
Obstacles has SOLD and is displayed for viewing and inspiration. If you are inspired and would like to create your own one of a kind item please don't hesitate to call us at 775.882.8500. We look forward to speaking with you.
