Life Size Jet Skull
The Life Size Jet Skull by Lee Downey is one of the final pieces in the series. With less than 10 world wide, this hand carved Russian Jet skull is great addition to any home decor. What is Jet? It is a type of lignite, the lowest rank of coal and is a gemstone. Unlike many gemstones, jet is not a mineral, but is rather a mineraloid. It is derived from wood that has changed under extreme pressure. It is very hard to take a photo of between it's high shine finish and it's absorption of light.
